Samson H2 Handy Recorder

My fellow Friend in Tech member, Victor Cajiao, from the Typical Mac User podcast, mentioned he is picking up one of these units, so I started to check out the specs.

If I have the opportunity to "lay hands" on this unit at the Podcast and New Media Expo in September, I will give you a review and more information.

Hey Doug,

We just got our hands on one. The recording quality is outstanding. I haven't had a chance to run it through it's paces yet, but it looks like a really good device. Handing noise can be an issue but that was true for the H4. I'll let you know more once I get some more time to experiment.

Microsoft release Outlook.com email services to replace Hotmail

Today Microsoft released its new email service Outlook.com to replace its Hotmail brand. This new streamlined Metro interface design looks good and functions well so far. Shared calendars are one part of an organized family

Along with the busy schedules of two working parents you might have art classes, karate classes, Little League, soccer and more. Add in more than one kid and organizing your life can quickly become a nightmare. This is exactly why one of my most important organizing devices is a shared calendar that reflects all the activities and events for everyone in the household...and I do mean everything. If someone -- is required to be somewhere -- at sometime, it goes into the calendar.
