Question: How do I back up my iPhone SMS messages?

I get a lot of questions every day and here is a one from today, courtesy of CZW in Century City, California.

Question: I am upgrading to a new iPhone and don't want to lose my 1,000's of text messages. How do I back up my iPhone SMS messages?
Answer: I found that the commercial, but inexpensive, Mac software, PhoneView is one easiest way to back up SMS messages, voice mails, contacts and more from your iPhone. There is a free demo which will how you the first 10-20 items to each type to insure that you can access your data. The full version allows you to save SMS messages to Text or PDF files for future reference.

Shared calendars are one part of an organized family

Along with the busy schedules of two working parents you might have art classes, karate classes, Little League, soccer and more. Add in more than one kid and organizing your life can quickly become a nightmare. This is exactly why one of my most important organizing devices is a shared calendar that reflects all the activities and events for everyone in the household...and I do mean everything.
