Mozy - 2GB Free Online Backup

I came across Mozy a few months ago, but their release of a Mac OS X version of their software caught my eye.

Mozy.com will automatically backup whatever files you select on a regular basis. They are offering 2GB for free, so you can try out the service without making a big committment. They do ask for some demographic information in order to receive the free space.

Unlimited backup space is available for around $5 per month.

With all the different options available, there really is no reason you shouldn't ne backing up your files. Mozy provides yet another "set it and forget it" option.

Check out http://www.MyOtherDrive.com for online storage. Their online backup is industrial strength including unattended backup operation and 128-bit encryption.

Their file sharing is likely the most advanced on the Internet. They support both public and private file sharing. Their private sharing allows users to control who can view their shared files. That prevents shared personal photos and videos from leaking out on the Internet.

Recently, they added a feature that I believe no other file sharing site has - the ability to move and copy files between accounts. The work is all done on the backend, saving precious bandwidth, and speedy as there is no upload or download required.

Microsoft release Outlook.com email services to replace Hotmail

Today Microsoft released its new email service Outlook.com to replace its Hotmail brand. This new streamlined Metro interface design looks good and functions well so far. Shared calendars are one part of an organized family

Along with the busy schedules of two working parents you might have art classes, karate classes, Little League, soccer and more.
