On my iPhone…Toonpaint

Toonpaint  Toonpaint for iOS I do like the Toonpaint app on my iPhone a lot. It doesn't work well with every photo, but with the right lighting and background it can turn out some pretty near photo "toons". Here are some of my Toonpaint pics from the past.     From the iTunes App Store... " Even if you have never drawn or painted before, ToonPAINT sets you up for quick success by providing a "MagiSketch" that you can simply color-in. It's as easy as "paint-by-numbers", but using your own personal images. Unlike other photography apps, ToonPAINT is not just an image filter -- it's a smart-painting application that enables you to express your creativity and obtain compelling results without requiring you to take Art classes. Simply import a photo, create an "automagic" sketch of the photo, color-in at your leisure, and you're done! " Read more, including reviews Previously in "On my iPhone/Android…":

Hibiscus and Garden Harvest "Everlapse" photo shows - Add your Hibiscus photos and share

Started playing around with a new iPhone app, Everlapse, that allows you to assemble photos into an animated slide show and then invite others to add their own photos. You could do this based around a theme, as I have with my first 2 Everlapses, or you could set up an Everlapse for an event and have everyone share their photos there. Do you gave any pictures of your hibiscus plants or something you harvested from your garden? Add it to the Everlapses below. I'd love to see them. You can download Everlapse from the iTunes App Store.

On my iPhone/Android…Saga – The Essential Lifelogging App

Saga – The Essential Lifelogging App Download Saga for iPhone | Download Saga for Android I have always had a desire to remember where I have been and what I have been doing. As you might imagine, my iPhone has made this even easier to do and also able to capture much more information. I have tried out a variety of apps for my phone, including Latitude, Foursquare and more, but Saga is looking to be the latest, and best app for capturing as much about my life as possible. Battery life is often a concern when using any location based app, but Saga seems to have limited the burden on the battery by using other sensors in the iPhone to let it know when it needs to turn on the GPS system and locate you. Saga allows me to confirm when I am at a particular place, notes my travel time between locations and also integrates my Facebook and Twitter posts in each day's journal. From the iTunes App Store...
