iOS 7 System Software iOS 7 System Software You have probably heard about this update from a million different places, but I feel I would be remiss if I didn't mention it as part of this series. iOS 7 is a huge leap forward for the iPhone and iPad, providing an entirely new look and feel for iOS as well as expanding functionality for the future. Using the link above you can explore all the "new" that iOS 7 has to offer before upgrading your own devices. You should soon see (if you haven't seen it already) and notification to upgrade under Settings, General, Software Update and you can start the upgrade process directly from there. On my iPhone 4s the process took around an hour to download and install and I experienced no issues with the upgrade. All of my apps and data was preserved.
